Job Profile
Candidate should have Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 4 to 8 years of manual & automation testing experience required. Candidate with web application testing experience preferred. QA/ Software testing or development experience including hands on scripting (automation) or coding experience in any programming language. Java or an OOPL preferred.
Experience in using a Defect Tracking system. JIRA experience preferable Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Preferably Java) Experience in interacting with RDBMS required. Experience with SQL in MS SQL Server environment a plus.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, executing, and supporting the testing effort of various projects around ISS applications and services. The candidate is expected to be detail oriented, goal oriented, and capable to manage and perform multi-task assignments in a timely and independent manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate will be responsible for Manual, Functional and other types of Testing. Reviewing requirements, creating, executing and documenting tests cases Plan, design and document various test suites for the underlying infrastructure of ISS Governance applications. Implement, execute, support, and deliver accurate test results in a timely manner. Report and track bugs in Jira.
Work with Product Management and Development teams to ensure products are being built based on the business specifications and requirements Collaborate with members of global teams involved in the projects. Troubleshoot and debug errors to identify root cause and coordinate with respective teams for fixing and re-testing. Assist in test case writing for automation suite and execution of automated test suite.
Candidate should be willing to contribute in Java automation development of various testing projects using Java & Selenium. This will form approx. 15-25% of the overall profile. Troubleshoot, maintain and fix the existing/ newly created frameworks Flexible to learn new process/ technologies as per the team needs & expansion
