Required Skills:
Android App based development experience - 5+ years Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK Experience with Third-party Libraries and APIs Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON Excellent coding and proofreading skills Individual contributor - ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision Proficient in code versioning tools including Github or any other. Experience with writing unit tests, integration tests, UI tests Familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging. Experience with continuous integration. Experience with debugging and performance testing software Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
Desired Skills:
Basic knowledge of Linux systems Familiar with Android testing automation tools Google Cloud Experience Operational knowledge of server maintenance and builds
Job Responsibilities:
Understand the business requirements and convert those into technical requirements Designing and building mobile applications for Android platform. Collaborating with the design team to define app features. Conceptualizing and formulating apps that are suitable for use on all types of Android devices Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications. Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks. Fixing application bugs before the final release Maintaining the code and atomization of the application Creating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for release Release management - New release, deprecation, older release management, api versioning
