Job Profile
Candidate should be a Graduate Engineer/ MCA (Computer Science discipline preferred) or equivalent qualification from reputed institutes with 5 to 10 years IT experience with not less than 4 years of strong expertise in developing testing artifacts, such as test plans and test cases with end to end STLC (Software testing life cycle) experience using Agile.
Must have strong customer and business focus Excellent oral and written communications skills Experience with user-centered design and usability testing Experience with defect tracking tools Experience working with a software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology Experience operating within teams using the Agile SCRUM process (JIRA experience preferred) Experience with test driven or behavior driven development practices
Intermediate with creating simple SQL Experience with service call testing and API testing Experience with writing/testing XML Basic knowledge of PC, client/server, and network environments Advanced Microsoft PC software experience (i.e., Excel, Word, Preferred Access) Willingness to develop industry-related knowledge Capability to work in a distributed team environment with minimal supervision Stay up to date with new testing tools/methodologies and test strategies Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Preferred Skills
Experience working on Policy Admin (for Life & Annuity Business), TPA Insurance Platforms or similar relevant industry experience FLMI or other industry- or field-related designations Experience in developing, maintaining, and executing Test Automation scripts Experience in performance testing would be an added advantage Experience working with tools like Selenium, Qualify and JAVA or .NET technologies
