Job Profile
Candidate should have 0 to 2 years of experience or knowledge of providing customer support, which includes identifying & troubleshooting hardware/ software/ operating system issues and fixing the issues. Very good experience or knowledge of using ticketing tool. Ability to work independently by researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues. Laptop / desktop hardware troubleshooting.
Basic network troubleshooting ability to identify whether the issue is with the laptop/desktop, network cable, network port or with the network switch. Some experience of working on or good understanding of DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Active Directory. Well versed in remote troubleshooting for users who are located outside Pune. Basic knowledge of Windows & Linux server operating systems, web servers and database.
Good written and oral communications skills. Ability to work with deadlines and complete tasks on time. Understanding SLAs and knowing when and what to escalate to the L2 Team. Working in shifts (9-hour shifts in 24x7 rotation) is essential as well as being on rotational on call duty. Being a quick, adaptable learner when it comes to new technology is key for a technical support engineer.
