Job Profile
Position: Technical Support Engineer (TSE) L1 Educational Qualification: BE/ B-tech/ Science Graduate Work Experience: 1 to 4 Years
Job Responsibility-
Laptop/ Desktop/ Software (desktop applications/ 3rd party application) Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including network configuration, licensing issues, product configuration, etc. Work to reproduce reported problems in software products Ask users targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
Talk users through a series of actions, either via phone or email, until theyve solved a technical issue Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers, system and network admins) Provide prompt and accurate feedback to users Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions Ensure all issues are properly logged Prioritise and manage several open issues at one time
Follow up with users to ensure their systems/applications are fully functional after troubleshooting Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals; Technical Writing Experience a plus Maintain positive relationships with users Maintain inventory and records for all iOS, Android devices and applications. Ensure a secured IT infrastructure for company-owned mobile devices within or outside physical company. Control access to proprietary data on approved devices to reduce the risk of potential misuse of data. Install and configure various commercial products on window/Linux, MAC operating systems Basic level server hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.
