Generic Skills(Required):
Contribute in all phases of the software development life-cycle Write well designed, testable, efficient code Researching, designing and writing new software programs Unit testing of the written code Breaking down program specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into a programming language Evaluating and increasing the program`s effectiveness Adapting the program to new requirements, as necessary Conducting user acceptance testing to ensure the program can be used easily, quickly and accurately Updating, repairing, modifying and developing existing software and generic applications Working closely with other staff, such as project managers, testers etc. Possessing good communication skills Having a positive, healthy attitude towards work and must be deadline conscious
Nice to Have skills:
Writing detailed documentation for the operation of the program by users and computer operators Investigating new technologies Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications possessing good writing skills (for documenting the process)
