Candidate should have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other technology related area with 2+ Years Experience with QA testing methodologies along the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience testing complicated business application software with increasing responsibilities to the team. High level experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira
A masterful grasp of the QA process, along with various forms of testing tools and coding languages such as: Selenium, SoapUI, Java, JUnit, Visual Studio. High level experience in writing Test Plans, Test Scripts and Test Reports. Ability to quickly learn and communicate technical information. Knowledge in software languages, applications, operating systems, frameworks, integrated data environments or other technical domains.
Job Responsibility-
Assist the teams in preparation of test plans, procedures, checklists, and reports in accordance with organization standards, customer specification, and manager direction.
Ability to comprehend Quality Assurance (QA) processes and follow QA guidelines.
Design fully integrated test s based on requirements derived from user stories, product specifications, and discussions with product development, software engineering, and end users.
Create test input data based on the functional specifications, to evaluate the product behavior as the customer expects.
Work closely with other team members to create , organize , and appropriately size regression test suites suitable for automation or manual testing.
As part of an agile team attend scrum meetings, backlog reviews , sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Track , document, and effectively report defects found to management.
Coordinate the user acceptance testing efforts with the business teams .
Triage production support issues and work with operations, product management, and software engineering to resolve issues.
Explore ways to prevent further escaped defects within the QA processes.
