Visa Inc. | Trusted Leader in Digital Payments is hiring for Staff SW Testing Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Software Test Engineer with a strong foundation in Typescript, JavaScript, and experience with WebDriverIO or Selenium. This role demands a detail-oriented individual who can design, develop, Lead and maintain comprehensive automated test suites, ensuring the highest quality standards in our web applications. As a Staff Software Test Engineer will be part of Visa Online/ VCXP (Visa Client Express Platform) team, you will play a critical role in our development process, collaborating closely with our engineering teams to integrate testing methodologies into our software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities-
Ability to translate requirements to functional test cases, execute tests and create data needed for testing without assistance. Strong skills in debugging, looking at logs, isolate problem scenarios and communicating more precise information to developers. Build automation tools and test automation frameworks from scratch. Collaborate with software engineers to comprehend application design and specifications, subsequently creating detailed test automation suites based on application functions. Design and develop test automation frameworks for both web-based user interfaces and backend batch processes. Design and build automation tools for test data generation, data analysis, pattern recognition and monitoring.
Work with the team in identification of opportunities for automated test executions and drive adoption of automated testing and tools thru the product/project lifecycle. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and proactively assess and evaluate the adoption thereof into the organization. Support agile activities: sprint planning, stand ups, sprint review and sprint retrospective. Must be self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced agile delivery model. Productively work with teams in multiple geographical locations and time zones
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
