Progress Software Corporation (Nasdaq: PRGS) is hiring for Performance Testing Engineer
We are looking for a talented candidate with several years of experience in Quality Assurance to join our QA team, working on MarkLogic Server. This position will be at an individual contributor level as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team, but will be relied upon to take a lead contributor role in planning and decision-making for the QA group.
Candidate should have 3 to 6 years of experience working in a Performance (System & reliability testing) position on a Database Search Engine. Must have strong debugging skills and interest in working on Server-side and REST APIs. Strong programming experience in Java, JavaScript, and preferably in XQuery.
Should have good working knowledge with UNIX and Shell Scripting. Hands-on experience delivering test automation leveraging Agile process and CI/CD frameworks Strong documentation and analytical skills
Preferred Skills-
Familiarity with search technologies and prior experience working with search engines is a plus. Knowledge of/ experience working in an Enterprise Server environment is desirable, as is a working knowledge of groovy for creating and configuring Jenkins pipelines. Enterprise-level databases experience (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server and MySQL) is a plus. Experience/ familiarity with XQuery is a plus.
