Netapp India Private Limited is hiring for Software Testing Engineer
This requirement is for the System Test Engineering group that is a centralized organization to test/ qualify various features of ONTAP product line. As Software Engineer, you will be responsible for coming up with a test design/ strategy for qualifying a feature and to develop, automate and execute tests using the NetApp s automation framework.
Educational Qualification-
Bachelor s degree/ Master s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering Typically requires 2-5 years of related work experience
Technical Skills-
Sound knowledge in storage/ file system/ cloud domain. Basic knowledge of Networking Protocols TCP/ IP, UDP/ IP, VLAN etc. is preferable Good automation skills in Python/Perl is a must. Experience in Testing Familiarity with testing frameworks Sound knowledge in test design and test strategies.
Job Responsibilities-
Deliver as SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)/ Quality Assurance team in area of Regression, System, Sustenance, Solution Test areas. Strong verbal and communication skills and work closely with the Engineering team. Performing manual and automated tests relating to Functional, Performance, Scalability and System capabilities Contribute to test methodologies, plans, and automation. Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests to replicate real-world scenarios. Review bug descriptions, functional requirements and design documents and incorporate them into test plans and cases. Understand system architecture to properly design feature test plans. Work closely with developers to ensure software handoff, bug fixes, and continuous regression progress for a timely release. Work with the support team to troubleshoot and reproduce customer impacting issues. Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated and very flexible Work collaboratively in teams across geographies
