Rockwell Automation India Pvt. Limited is hiring for Software Testing Engineer
Candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with minimum of five years of experience in a software product development environment. Direct experience with creating test plans and test cases for web applications or services; familiar with manual and automated testing methodologies. Must have strong knowledge of test automation and familiar with test automation framework such as TestCafe or TestNG
Desired Qualifications-
Direct experience of automating test cases using Python, JavaScript/ TypeScript, Java, or other language Direct experience with Agile software development process, experience of Scrum Master is an advantage. Able to apply knowledge of testing cloud-based software products Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Direct experience with the Industrial Automation industry Direct experience collaborating with local and global technical development teams Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Essential Functions-
Collects, contributes to and documents requirements for a feature and its components, ensuring the information required for the development of software and corresponding test cases are contained in the specifications. Develops test plans for new features or contributes to existing ones ensuring they meet the established requirements. Establishes a timeline and determines the resources needed to execute a test plan. Considers tradeoffs between requirements, speed, cost and coverage. Provides progress reports, as needed. Creates test cases and related documents that meets the product quality requirements, including traceability. Creates test automation plans and automates required test cases.
