IGT Solutions (India) Private Limited is hiring for Software Testing Engineer
Person should have a university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, coupled with a minimum of 5 years` experience in software development or testing.
Familiarity with software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, ISTQB certification, and Gherkin script writing skills are essential. Proficiency in tools like Java/ C#, Selenium, BDD, APIs (Restful & SOAP)/ SOAPUI, Postman, Microfocus ALM/ Octane, Jira, and CI Tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) is required.
Additionally, knowledge of DevOps, continuous integration, effective communication, ISO standards, and agile principles is highly valued. The ability to work under pressure, strong software application skills, and a commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge are crucial for success in this role. Finally, the role emphasizes precise data analysis, practical knowledge of object-oriented development, and documentation management.
Key Responsibilities-
Firstly, it requires the creation of automation test scripts and regression test packs for evaluating new and modified software or services. This includes specifying requirements for environment data resources and tools and executing complex test scripts while adhering to established methods and standards. Another critical aspect is conducting a comprehensive analysis of all testing conducted on the environment to ensure accurate logging of bugs, risks, and issues. Furthermore, this role entails providing constructive feedback to senior QA management for potential enhancements in working practices. Additionally, acquiring functional knowledge in the airline domain is expected, along with testing various components like APIs, mobile apps, SDKs, and web applications.
