PTC India Private Limited is hiring for Technical Support Engineer
Candidate should have a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, MCA or similar field with 1-3 years hands on experience in a related support, services, or software development field that utilized technical and soft skills. Object oriented programming background using Java and/ or any other Programming Language. Experience working with technically diverse teams. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in relational Database technologies (Oracle, MS SQL Server, etc.). Experience implementing or supporting Client-Server Applications, Relational Databases, Networking, or Operating System issues. Familiarity with UNIX and Windows Operating Systems. Demonstrated ability to solve analytical problems.
Primary Responsibilities-
Take ownership of customer issues reported and ensuring their resolution. Logging tickets, defects, and enhancement requests for internal teams Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve customer issues. Assisting clients in managing complex IT environments, including maintenance and upgrades Escalating issues to testers and developers as needed, following escalation protocols. Provide Customer Support for external customers to diagnose reported issues on PTC software and address questions related to guidance and general best practices. Creating and enhancing a customer-visible knowledge base Create and publish knowledge articles for reuse by PTC customers and employees.
