Candidate should be Any Graduate with a strong telephone presence, with regular communications to keep customers updated about their support cases. Excellent customer service skills and a team focus. Fluency in English, both verbal and written communication skills is mandatory/required.
Understanding of Microsoft Windows environments and/or other Operating Systems, eg UNIX/ Linux is preferable. Advanced Experience of working on NetBackup and NetBackup Appliances in a Support environment will be preferred. Advanced knowledge of storage technologies (tape device, SCSI, SAN, iSCSI, etc.). Advanced knowledge of networking technologies TCP/ IP, routers, switches etc. Advanced knowledge of Server applications (Backup and Recovery, SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, Oracle, Domino, etc) is desirable.
In addition, experience and knowledge in one or more of the following is highly desirable: Previous experience in System Administration/ Windows/ UNIX/ Linux administration Strong troubleshooting, follow through, interpersonal, verbal and written skills. Strong experience in technical support environment is preferred.
