Armstrong Machine Builders Pvt. Limited is hiring for Software Testing Engineer
As part of a team within the controls software development organization, you will participate in test case design and documentation, analysis of test automation effectiveness and product design discussions, simulator/emulator interface definition, and possibly a small amount of automation test tool and infrastructure development.
The software products under test range from global PLC controls software under ongoing development, real time applications for high performance material handling equipment, to HMI and ancillary applications/ tools. You must have a passion for excellence, the drive to complete tasks within the required time frame, the ability to work in a team environment and the technical skill to understand software and explore opportunities for testing it. Excellent problem solving and communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities :-
Generate and/or review test requirements. Translate high level requirements into specific test requirements. Work with a range of software products from low-level PLC software (main focus) to higher-level C# desktop tools and web tools. Build and maintain a comprehensive suite of test cases for targeted testing and/or regression testing. Carry out manual software testing. Identify methods to automate software testing.
Work closely with software developers to understand features and confirm correct operation. Analyze and measure the effectiveness and utility of the tests created. Generate test reports. Participate as a member of a Scrum team. Work with cross-functional teams to release software products. Learn and apply new tools, technologies, and industry best practices. Comply with all company safety policies and practices.
