Candidate should have a Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems with 8+ years in eCommerce software development, including 5+ years of experience in architecting highly scalable and performing web applications.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile ways of working in a distributed geographical model. Skills and Experience that Separate the Top Candidate: Self-Motivated: The ability to work independently and proactively. Previous employment in a reputable organization is valued.
Top 3 Required Skills:
Java (preferably with Spring Boot experience): The candidate should have a strong background in Java programming, with a preference for experience in Spring Boot, which is a framework for building Java-based enterprise applications.
Scala: Knowledge of Scala, a programming language that is often used in conjunction with big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark.
PySpark, Airflow: Experience with PySpark (the Python API for Apache Spark) and Airflow, a platform for orchestrating complex workflows.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Design, development, and participation in scrum activities. Production support and testing.
